Cascade Pet Hospital

Our philosophy is to treat the individual client and animal with the utmost respect and compassion. With each appointment we would like you to be confident that your beloved pet is in expert hands and that you are well informed in all aspects of care..

Cascade Pet Hospital strives to offer your pets the best and most up to date medicine, surgery, dentistry, and preventative healthcare available. All of our doctors are well versed in all aspects of medicine and surgery.

We have excellent working relationships with local Board Certified Specialists and routinely refer to them for more advanced procedures, diagnostics, and care for our patients that need specific levels of care and expertise. To make it more convenient for you, we often have Board Certified Specialists perform certain procedures in our hospital so you do not have to travel to an unfamiliar place for your pet’s care.

Allow us to become the doctors for your animal companion. We know you will be pleased with the care and compassion you and your pet receive at Cascade Pet Hospital.

Veterinary medicine, surgery, dentistry and nutrition counseling have improved the quality of life of countless animals and their human guardians. I am eternally grateful to be a part of this field as it grows in new medical scientific discoveries and returns to a deep rooted compassion for animals.

After 13 years as a veterinarian I can honestly say that my enjoyment of coming to work and treating your animal companions has increased significantly. Due to this connection with my field I continuously seek education to improve the quality of care I give to my patients. Over the years I have added animal chiropractic and animal acupuncture to my general veterinary knowledge with great results. Most of my practice consists of traditional western medicine but on request and when current treatment is not enough adding these modalities may help significantly in keeping your animal companion feeling their best.

Communication and calm, gentle treatment is of utmost importance at Cascade Pet Hospital. Our goal for every appointment is for your pet to feel as comfortable as possible at our office and for you to go home satisfied with the information and care you and your pet have received.

My educational background spans the Midwest (University of Wisconsin, Madison - Undergraduate Bachelor of Science) to the South West (University of Arizona -“ Graduate School) to the Caribbean (Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine - Doctor of Veterinary Medicine).

When I am not at Cascade I am spending time with my two wonderful children and husband and pet menagerie of 1 dog, 3 cats, a parrot, two guinea pigs, and 5 chickens!. For personal time I love glass blowing and kayaking.

Since I spoke my first word, kee-ka (kitty cat), it was clear that animals would be a big part of my life. Veterinary medicine has been a fulfillment of my childhood dreams and is truly my calling. Each day I come to work, I strive to learn something new, and positively impact each patient.

Technically a northwest transplant, I grew up in the Washington, DC area. I moved to the Pacific Northwest in my late teenage years. My education background includes an undergraduate education at The Evergreen State College (go Geoducks!) in Olympia, WA. During college, I worked as a veterinary technician at Steamboat Animal Hospital which was also in Olympia. I attended veterinary school at Washington State University College of Veterinary Medicine.

In veterinary school, I was a member of the Behavior Club, the Humane Society Veterinary Medical Association and the Feline Club. I participated in Rural Area Veterinary Services trips, in which the HSVMA provided free veterinary care and spay/neuter clinics to areas with low median incomes or lack of accessible veterinary care.

After graduation from veterinary school, I worked in a small animal veterinary practice in Sequim, WA. I had an excellent mentor and am truly grateful for a fantastic first job in my veterinary career. I eventually moved to Seattle to be closer to my family in Seattle.

Outside of veterinary medicine, I have a wonderful husband, a houseful of cats and a dog. I also play in a bluegrass-ish band and enjoy reading, hiking and camping.

    Hospital Manager

From owning cats and dogs, to one very loud rooster and most every pet in between, I have developed a love and respect for all creatures. I got my first job at the age of 15 at a pet store, where I began my journey in pet husbandry. I developed a strong drive to learn everything I could about caring for and ensuring the health of every creature I was responsible for. After graduating high school, I attended Pima Medical Institute’s Veterinary Technician program and graduated with honors. I met Dr. Rudolf during my externship and have dedicated my career to helping her build a hospital and team who provides the upmost compassion and care for our patients and clients.  I especially enjoy my leadership role within the hospital, interacting with our clients and participating with surgery and dental health.

When I am not at Cascade, I enjoy spending time with my husband and pets, traveling, hiking and camping. I have two dogs and two cats. At Cascade, you may occasionally see my dog Jamie or my black cat, Lorenzo.

    Animal Care Giver / Receptionist

Raised in Seattle and adopted from China, I've had a soft spot for all things furry from a young age. I graduated from the University of Washington with a degree in Biology: Physiology and plan on pursuing further education. I've volunteered at the PAWS Wildlife Rehabilitation Center and at the PAWS Companion Animal Shelter as a medical assistant. I love working with all animals and the people who care for them.

My boyfriend and I own one very loud and special cat named Bojangles, who's named after the fast food chain in North Carolina. You can find me adventuring in the Cascades or running around Greenlake so I can have that extra slice of pizza!

    Animal Care Giver / Receptionist

I've had a life long love affair with animals of all kinds, not only spending time with them, but learning as much as I can about them! I pursued that passion during my time as a Harvard undergrad, and recently graduated with a degree in animal biology. I plan on applying to vet school in a few years either here in Washington or my native California.

I live in Seattle with my boyfriend and two of the best kitties in the world, Sky and Ariel. In my free time, I enjoy exploring the outdoors, reading a great book with a cup of tea or watching a movie. I also consider myself a foodie and love finding new restaurants or cooking new recipes.

Recent transplant to Washington all the way from sunny Florida! I chose to pursue a career in veterinary medicine because I have always had a very special place in my heart for our beloved pets and nothing brings me more joy than helping to provide the best care possible to our client's four-legged family members. I love coming to work because I know that I am making a positive impact in the health and well-being of animals alongside a great team of people. I am currently pursuing my dream career of becoming a Licensed Veterinary Technician at Pima Medical Institute, and can't wait to graduate!

    Animal Care Giver

A love for animals that I've had all my life, combined with a developed interest in medical fields, led me to find my passion in Veterinary Medicine. I graduated from Sno-Isle TECH Skills Center as an honor student after 2 years in the Veterinary Assisting program. I've only ever worked in Veterinary Hospitals, and I can't imagine doing anything else! I feel very fortunate to have had the opportunity to work in some of the greatest hospitals, and now I'm glad to spend every day gaining more knowledge and experience, and being the best Assistant I can be for our patients.

I have a mini schnauzer, two kitties and a bird at home. Outside the hospital, I spend my time with my fiance, friends and family.
